I stumbled upon this YouTuber, Sergiy Yurko, out of Ukraine who has a slew of videos on low tech, cheap, DIY solar reflectors. There's lots of good research here. I think the most interesting idea I've come across from here is to keep the reflectors stationary and move the receiver, which can be cheaper that moving the reflectors to be directed towards the sun.
He also has a secondary channel specific to solar heating.
